Course Objective The Turkish Folk Music which forms an important part and the foundation on a large scale of Turkish music has a rich content. It is required that the elements which form this rich content must be researched and analysied by examining.
Course Content Basic production related to Turkish folk music, approaches to Turkish folk music sound system and methodological problems, anonymous-musical composition, polyphony and adaptation problems to time, examination of Turkish folk music repertoire.
