Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine financial crises within the historical dimension and examine them within the framework of economic and financial theories. In this context, capitalism is exploring the crises of the last century and opening the contemporary financial crisis of 2007-2008 and its debate. In addition, independently of the above history and economic theory it is to make reading on the crisis in Turkey and macro effects.

Course Content

This course will explain the nature and causes of crises and the types and definitions of crisis. And the world financial crisis in Turkey will be examined according to the historical sequence.
