Dersin Amacı

By the end of this course students should be able;

-to identify, to outline, to analyze, and to assess critically poststructural theory in International Relations

-to have a clear sense of foreign policy analysis through poststructuralism theory

-to understand how to bring theory and case in an academic writing based on poststructuralism and Turkish foreign policy.

-to provide a well-structured and coherent presentation about the topic they choose to research on

Dersin İçeriği

This course explores different conceptual, methodological and theoretical approaches to the study poststructuralism. Structured through a series of questions, students will engage foreign policy analysis advanced by poststructuralism theory in International Relations. Having learned how poststructuralism approaches foreign policy, the course will focus on Turkish foreign policy. Through reading of some exemplary texts about Turkish foreign policy, student will be familiar to how to think, and write about case studies together with poststructuralism theory.
