Course Objective

In today's dynamic competitive environment, it is very important for businesses to fulfill customer requests and needs effectively. For this reason, logistics and supply chain management are the elements that play a big role in the management of demands and requests. Establishing an effective supply chain management system, reducing costs, increasing efficiency and satisfaction should be the main goal of businesses. In this context, the aim of the course is; To reveal the importance of establishing effective logistics and supply chain systems and to provide students with information about practices.

Course Content

Basic concepts related to logistics and supply chain management, the structure of the supply chain, supply chain members, the design of the supply chain, demand forecasting and planning, inventory management, procurement and supplier management, distribution processes, supply chain management, performance management in the supply chain in the world and in Turkey sample supply chain applications will be covered in the course.
