Course Objective

At the end of this course, students will be able to learn the usage of statistics in health services, measures of prevalence of central tendency and distribution, use of probability and statistics, calculation of population confidence limits, table and graph making, distribution types, parametric and non-parametric tests and where and how to use them. In addition, students will gain the ability to use of SPSS package program, and they will learn how to perform SPSS statistical program in calcularing despcriptive statistics, correlation analysis, regression analysis, factor and clustering analysis, etc and they will learn structral equation modelling.  They will gain to ability the use these techniques in professional life.

Course Content

In this lesson, basic concepts of statistics, exploratory measures for data, summarizing data with tables and figures, probability and distribution of probability, sampling, statistical estimate and hypothesis tests, non-parametric tests, regression and correlation analyses.
