Course Objective

The aim of course is to introduce comprehensively Avicenna's metaphysics, one of the most important scholar, to Ph.D. student studying in Islamic Philosophy.
Course Content

Metaphysics thought of pre-Avicenna Greek Philosophy, Farabi's metaphysical heritage, teleology, prophethood, the influence of Avicenna´s metaphysics on mysticism.
