Course Objective To gain information about application areas of biotechnology, important microorganisms in biotechnology, microorganisms growing conditions, principles and regulation of the metabolism of microorganisms.
Course Content Definition and importance of biotechnology, an introduction to biotechnolgy and biotechnolgical processes, main biotechnological processes, mostly used microorganisms in processes, production of microbial mass, production of primer metabolites, fermentations, production of seconder metabolites, main principles of biotechnology.
