Course Objective To have students gained the background for electricity and magnetism necessary in the engineering education.
Course Content Coulomb’s force, the electric field, electric flux, Gauss’s law, electric potential, capacitors, current and resistivity, direct current circuits, Kirchhoff’s rules, magnetic field, Biot-Savart’s law, Ampere’s law, induction, Faraday’s law, Lenz’s law, inductance, energy in magnetic field, oscillations in the LC circuit, electromagnetic waves.
