Course Objective It is aimed that the service quality of social work and its relation with human success be emphasized. Besides, the importance of having social skills and avoiding prejudice towards risk groups are aimed to be underlined in this course
Course Content Welfare and social welfare concepts, analysis of the social welfare concept, other fields related to the welfare concept, human and human services, communal organizations serving people and their importance, the history of social work in Turkey and in the World in terms of human services, the way of current social work system in terms of role, structure and function, different risk groups and the negative effects of risk groups.
