Course Objective Aim of this lesson is to introduce modernism and postmodernism as a concept, to indicate the progress of them as part of history and intellectuality, to present and analyse examples of them in Turkish literautre and western literature,to determine similarities and differences between them by comparing.
Course Content In this lesson, importance of concepts modernism and postmodernism is going to be eloborated, in the way of their literary and artistic systems. Modernism and postmodernism is going to be compared by elaborating literary and historical progress of modernism and postmodernism. Within the lesson, modernism and postmodernism in Turkish and western literatures are also going to be searched by using examples.
