Course Objective To handle the large settlement areas and cities that human make the largest changes on the earth. To examine the factors those affect the establishment and development of cities. To handle the geographic elements play role on differentiation of cities among the regions.
Course Content Cities are classified according to various criteria by examination their functions and effect areas. In addition, the effects of regional and political factors on city structure are discussed by examining the city samples from various regions of world. Also, some city samples from Turkey are used for sampling. Visual materials are used for used.
