Course Objective | The course examines in detail the practice of warfare in Ancient Greece, Rome, and Macedonia. Topis include analysis of strategy, tactics, intelligence, naval and siege warfare, armies and armour. |
Course Content | The aim is to acquaint students with an understanding of the historical context of individual battles and to help them develop their critical thinking through the parallel study of sources in translation and secondary bibliography. |
