Dersin Amacı
The primary purpose of this course is to explore the relationships among education, reform and social change. Students will gain information and experiences about reform efforts in education, the roles of teachers in social change, barriers to change in education, the role of education in creating social change in the historical process.

The relationship between education and social change, the roles of education and teachers on social change, the causes of the failure of educational reforms, a general evaluation of Turkish educational reforms from past to present.
