Dersin Amacı
Stability is the leading actual problem compared to the other problems encountered during generation and transmission of electrical energy. Addition to classical angle stability approach, voltage stability in major transmission systems has a continuously increasing importance. Aim of this course is to redound the required knowledge and skills to be able to make voltage stability analysis and prevention designs.

2 Projections (schemes) of transmission systems, line, generator, transformer models
3 Load models; steady power, current, impedance loads
4 Static voltage stability, PV curves; obtain of these curves through analytical expressions, critical point and margins
5 Examination of the factors that effect voltage stability by the help of PV curves, single-double lines, power factor, compensation, line lengths, short circuit level
6 Obtaining and interpretation critical angle critical voltage and critical power statements
7 Dynamic voltage stability, fundamental models
8 Semi-static approaches
9 Dynamic load models; asynchronous motors, models, equations
10 Semi-static approaches; voltage sag scenarios
11 Algorithms in terms of dynamic voltage stability
