Dersin Amacı

It is possible to recognize a hydraulic machine. The aim of this course is to give students a detailed information about hydraulic machine and have them make some projects.

Indroductions, basic terms, classifications of hydraulic machine, pumps, velocity triangle, similarities, specific speed, selection and design of pumps, classifications of hydraulic turbines, selecting and design of water turbines, cavitation in hydarulic machinery.
