Dersin Amacı
Aim of this course is to prepare geophysical data for interpretation by using various data processing techniques.

Classification of observed data, generation of random data, wavelet and its features, main statistical concepts; average value, variance, standard deviation etc., statistical methods; Gauss distribution, Student-t distribution, Chi-square test etc., approximation methods; linear approximation and least squares method etc., interpolation methods; linear interpolation, Lagrange interpolation method etc., moving average, correlation, autocorrelation, cross correlation, convolution and its application fields in geophysics.
