The content of the course consists of examining the interpretation with students in line with selected books accordance with following resource books.

1 Course content to students, topics covered, the method and course materials are introduced, and students, presentation topics they will be dealt.
2 What is Literature? The place of acquitions of reading and writing in our life, talk on the meaning and importance for philosophy departments, introduction to concepts of literature study and to techniques of hermeneutic
3 The concept “poetics” is defined, with studying “Poetika” by Aristotle and “Introduction to Poetics” by Todorov.
4 Concepts “fictional World, literature, reading acquisition” are examined within framework “Okuma Uğraşı” by Akşit Göktürk.
5 The world of the narrative and narrative techniques are examined in book by Umberto Eco.
6 Theories of literature and methods of the hermeneutic are examined within book by Berna Moran. Doctoral students make their presentations.
7 An overview about materials and methods used for foreign language teaching in course of literature.
8 Theories about examining of the literary text in foreign language teaching
9 Place of literary texts in language teaching and study of literary text.
