Dersin Amacı

The aims of this course are; To explain the basic principles of the welding process, to explain the general principles of welding methods, to introduce the electrode types, to explain the metallurgical events that occur during welding and to explain welding errors and their elimination methods.

This lesson; Introduction and terminology, Pressure welding methods, Melting welding methods, Arc welding, Welding electrodes, Electron beam welding, Welding applications, Welding applications, Shielding gas welding methods, Weldability, Solidification of the weld metal, Area under the influence of heat, Welding errors, Project presentations; Includes topics. It also includes the application principles of non-destructive testing techniques in welded structures.
