Dersin Amacı

By incorporating different reading and listening texts into communication-oriented studies, it is aimed to develop students' productive skills as well as their receptive skills. In addition to these, it is also aimed to develop strategies to eliminate disruptions in communication. By the end of this course, the students are expected to have acquired and improved the ability to use language in an effective way as a means of communication and develop a speech outline for a better organization of their ideas.

Dersin İçeriği

This course is the continuation of Listening and Speaking Skills I. In order to enable students to gain awareness about the rules of sounds that they have learned in the previous semester, frequent phonetic mistakes will be determined and collective feedback will be provided in the classroom. Practices will be aimed to guide students to think critically. Contemporary issues, interesting facts, striking discourses and advanced literary texts will be used in order to stimulate interest in communication.
