Course Objective

Students will have a chance of proving his theoretical information at practicum school by observing the mentor teacher and through these observation they are supposed to enhance their teaching skills and  knowledge for  teaching mathematics. In order to provide this, they will plan teaching activities and apply these activities to a class. They are also expected to teach a class assigned to him/her by his cooperating teacher.

Course Content

Definition of daily activities, preparation of a daily plan (preparing necessary environment, materials and measurement tools), applying the plan or some activities in that plan, preparing a plan for a student who behaves against school rules, preparing a self-evaluation report related to applications, preparing portfolio
