Dersin Amacı
Definition of Ceramic lathe, history, learning the importance of current condition, locally-made causes in every region of Turkey, from past to present to widely applied today, taking advantage of technological opportunities in practice occurring differences, development, auxiliary raw materials are used as materials, machinery, tools and equipment, examples of construction and decoration techniques, application areas, problems encountered in the sector and solution proposals, and learn the principles of shaping on the potter's lathe.

1 Information about the designs that can be made on lathe, projects and studies prepared in this subject are examined.
2 The necessary resource research is done for the designs to be made.
3 Functional and artistic design projects are determined.
4 The necessary infrastructure is created by evaluating the prepared designs
5 Units suitable for designs are formed on lathe.
6 The intermediate materials to be used in assembly are formed on the lathe.
7 It is shown how to insert and assemble the obtained parts. (Midterm exam)
8 Defective and incorrect designs are checked and reproduced if necessary.
9 In the lathe, bottoming and correction works are performed.
10 Correction and retouching operations are performed.
11 Describes how the studies will be dry.
12 Oven placement is performed.
13 Firing is performed.
14 Project presentation and final evaluation is done. (Final exam)
