Dersin Amacı | It is aimed for the students · to gain information about the physiology and funtioning of the skin in order to diferentiate the structural and functional pathologic conditions; · to differentiate acute and chronic dermatologic diseases and to make an association with possible systemic diseases; · to arrange the intervention due to acute and chronic dermatologic diseases such as first evaluation and forward, or directly forward; · to plan the first intervention for emergency dermatologic conditions; · to be able to make the right decision for common chronic diseases like psoriasis which also may act systemic to intervene or refer to a specialist; · to recognize the common skin cancer types;
· to be aware of the dermatological signs of genodermatoses and some metabolic diseases.
