Course Objective

In line with medical ethical principles, statutes and regulations, to teach the legal responsibilities of physicians, to be able to recognize the forensic cases encountered while providing health services, to systemic examination of the case in the evaluation process, to collect and store biological evidence, to use diagnostic tests, to ensure interdisciplinary cooperation, to provide legal services in the light of findings and discussions. To gain knowledge, skills and behavior in preparing reports and directing forensic cases.
Course Content

Definition of forensic case, Forensic medical issues regarding examination in cases with forensic nature, examination of medical documents and preparation of final report

Dead body examination and forensic autopsy, laws regarding the physician in the TCK, and the issues of expertise and legal responsibility of the physician

The issue of domestic violence and violence against women and Forensic psychiatry issues
