Dersin Amacı

The aim of this course is to indicate the analysis methods and to show the background of the computer aided modeling using numerical solution techniques for evaluating the performance of the significant structure systems which are built on active earthquake regions. Teaching fundamental approaches for modeling of structural members, and giving the basic principles for evaluating and examining the analysis results is also the scope of this course.

Dersin İçeriği

1. General remarks of the analysis methods for the engineering structures
2. Evaluation of finite elements types using in the numerical modeling
3. Mathematical modeling of engineering structures
4. Structural analysis using a series of computer programs (SAP2000)
5. Special applications in structural mechanics and evaluation of the analysis results
