Dersin Amacı By this course offered by High Energy and Plasma Physics group for the first time, it is aimed to present students the studies in this field using from simple to complex approach and to compensate the inadequacy of man power in the field by motivating and attracting them.
Dersin İçeriği Elementary particles, four forces, four vectors, symmetry, group, spin, parity.

1 He/She does Lorentz transformations by four vectors. Lecture, Question-Answer, Discussion, Testing, Homework,
2 He/She shows that the dot product of any given two four-vectors results to a Lorentz invariant quantity. Lecture, Question-Answer, Discussion, Drilland Practice, Testing, Homework,
3 He/She constructs proper velocity and momentum four vectors. Lecture, Question-Answer, Discussion, Demonstration, Testing, Homework,
4 He/She uses four-vector notation in particle decays and collisions. Lecture, Question-Answer, Discussion, Testing, Homework,
5 He/She establishes the relation between symmetry and conversation laws. Lecture, Drilland Practice, Demonstration, Testing, Homework,
6 He/She identifies the isospin states of protons, neutrons, pions and delta particles. Lecture, Question-Answer, Discussion, Testing, Homework,
7 For a given reaction he/she distinguishes whether parity is a conserved quantity or not based on the type of the reaction. Lecture, Question-Answer, Discussion, Testing, Homework,
