Dersin Amacı Explaining and commenting the texts of Diwan poetry continuing to develop in 17th and 18th century that the period of stagnation and regression started politically, and in this way having our students enjoyed the Diwan poetry.
Dersin İçeriği The social, political, cultural and literary statement of the Ottoman Empire in 17th and 18th century is mentioned, the literary movements such as "Klasik Üslup, Sebk-i Hindî, Hikemî Üslüp" are explained. Biographies, the works of art, the literary style, the role in Diwan poetry, the influences on both contemporary poets and latter poets of the prominent poets are showed. Examples from their poems are transcribed, prosed and commented.
