Course Objective

This course aims to provide teacher candidates with characteristics of pre-school education in Turkey and preschool practices in the world.It gives information about the training programs, approaches, and comparison of these modelswith their similar and different aspects. it raises awareness about the applicability in Turkey.

The definition of comparative education courses, importance, historical development of comparative education, methods of comparative education, comparing preschool education in our country and countries, Early Childhood Education in the United States, Pre-School Education in Western European countries (France, Germany, Great Britain, Denmark, Holland, Pre-School Education in Italy), Preschool Education in Eastern European countries (Russia, Georgia), Pre-School Education in the Far East countries (Japan, China), Pre-School in Middle Eastern countries Education (Iran, Iraq, Israel) School in South Asia Early Childhood Education (India, Pakistan).
