Providing theorical information about novel and story analysing. Analysing of remarkable novels in New Turkish Literature. To teach novel as a literary work and it´s components.
Dersin İçeriği
This lesson consists of theorical information about novel and story analysing, novel and classification of novels, adventure of novel in west, the first examples of novel in west, comings of novel to Turkey, translation works and their impression, attempt for westernisation and it´s reflections on novels, analysing of prominent examples (analysing of Felatun Bey ile Rakım Efendi, Taşşuk-ı Tal’at ve Fitnat, Araba Sevdası, Mai ve Siyah, Aşk-ı Memnu, Fatih-Harbiye, Huzur, Kuyucaklı Yusuf, Bir Düğün Gecesi and new-novels like Kara Kitap and Yeni Hayat) those belong to Tanzimat, Servet-i Fünun, Meşrutiyet and Cumhuriyet terms.
