1 To meet students, to inform them about content, etc. and sources of the lesson. Literature review about lesson’s content will be done.
2 A general assessment about sources of Classical Turkish literature, theorical knowledge about these sources. “Divan Edebiyatının Kaynakları” part from Agah Sırrı Levend’s “Divan Edebiyatı” will be read. Hüseyin Güfta’s “Divan Şiirinde İlim” will be recomended.
3 Sources of Classical Turkish literature: "Kur´ân-ı Kerîm". A prestudy about frequently used verses in Classical Turkish literature will be done.
4 Sources of Classical Turkish literature: Hadith. Articles about Kırk Hadis and Yüz Hadis tradation will be provided.
5 Sources of Classical Turkish literature: Sufism, philosophy (history of philosophy, ontology, metaphysics), mythology. Articles which are Kaplan Üstüner’s “Divan Şiirinde Tasavvuf” and Haluk Gökalp’s “Tevhid Kasidelerinde İsbat-ı Vacib” will be read. The book of Dursun Ali Tökel’s “Divan Şiirinde Mitolojik Unsurlar: Şahsiyet
6 Sources of Classical Turkish literature: History and geography. Related section from the book of Agah Sırrı Levend’s “Divan Edebiyatı” will be read.
7 Sources of Classical Turkish literature: Literature history. Works’ name in texts from Classical Turkish literature will be list.
8 Sources of Classical Turkish literature: History of religions and history of nations. Knowledge about Judaizm, Christianity in samples of Classical Turkish literature will be read. Nation and tribe’s names in Classical Turkish literature will be list.
9 Visa exam.
10 Sources of Classical Turkish literature: Medicine and maths. Knowledges about medicine and math terms place in Classical Turkish literature will be given.
11 Sources of Classical Turkish literature: Entertainment, war, sport. Related section from the book of Agah Sırrı Levend’s “Divan Edebiyatı” will be read. To be researched about sports in Classical Turkish literatre.
12 Sources of Classical Turkish literature: Law and fiqh. A prestudy about law and fiqh terms will be done.
13 Sources of Classical Turkish literature: Daily life and proverbs-idioms. About social and daily life’s reflections to Classical Turkish literature, M. Nejat Sefercioğlu’s “Divan Şiirinde Sosyal Hayat” will be read . The book of Ömer Özkan’s “Osmanlı Toplum Hayatı” will be recomended.
14 Practical examples. Previous subjects will be repeated.
