Dersin Amacı
To teach start and development in historical process, method, technique of the folklore studies in the world. To teach adventure of begin to practice, as a term naming stages, as a discipline when the first began to deal with, stages of reach to universal quality of the folklore in Turkey and nowadays folkore studies.

To teach term and definition of "folk", "lore", folklore, field of folklore and aim of folklore, term of culture, moral culture products, material culture products, folklore and literature relations, folklore and fakelore, version in folklore, general rules of folklore, laws of folklore, research techniques, methodology of folklore,resources of Turkish folklore, social norms, transition periods in folk culture, ceremonies, celebrations, folk kitchen.

1 Students gain the ability of speaking and writing in Turkish language correctly, clearly and literary. X

10 Students can make researches about folklore by learning required methods and technics. X
11 Students gain the basic knowledge and skills of the ability of making researches and studies in Turkish Language and Literature field. X
12 Students can apply and use their knowledge in academy and in public services which they have gained by their education in Turkish Language and Literature department. X
13 Students look out for professional liability and moral values in Turkish Language and Literature field. X
