Dersin Amacı
To study history, culture and civilization of Turks who established political rule on the Black Sea, Caucasus and the Balkan geography more than a thousand year, revealing of this historical experience and heritage, to show the way how can be benefited from this heritage.
Dersin İçeriği
In this course it is handled Turkish states and societies ruled in the Northern Black Sea. The courses’ main subjects included that Turkish societies came to the Northern Black Sea region especially from the time of the Hun denoted such a big accumulation and during the Golden Horde era, Khazar heritage was its peak. Moscow won the struggle for the Khazar heritage between Crimean Khanate and Russia in a long term competition. At the end the Turkishness of Northern Black Sea came under the authority of Moscow. It was the last stage of this process.
