Dersin Amacı

It is necessary to analyze in detail the situation of the buildings existing in countries with earthquake zones or the damages that have occurred in earthquake-proof buildings. If these analyzes are considered to be done on existing structures, it is desirable that these analyzes do not damage the building. Analyzes can be made without using any built-in samples, but only with the use of technological devices. Within the scope of this course, building materials and experiments on structures, measurement techniques, examples of experimental instruments and experimental applications will be given and the results of the experiments will be evaluated. I am convinced that this course is necessary for students who want to learn these tests and who want to study at an advanced level or who want to do experimental work in our earthquake region.
