Dersin Amacı
Interest for digital image processing stems from two applications: visual information enhancement for human interpretation and visual data processing for storage, transmission and representation for the purpose of industrial automation. The objective of this course, which is the first graduate level course on digital image processing, is to introduce the most advanced applications in which image processing is employed, fundamental algorithms used in image processing and open problems to the students so that they can conduct research in this area
