Dersin Amacı
With this course, it is aimed to learn the basic principles of radiation protection, to understand international recommendations associated with radiation protection and to recognize the relevant organizations, to learn the effects of radiation on humans, to learn basic IAEA safety standards, to learn the details of the national radiation safety legislation and the necessity of it, to understand the necessity of organization of local radiation safety and methodological interpretation of it, to have an idea about the possible radiological hazards and emergency situations and classification according to practices, and to have an opinion about the international and national intervention criteria for a possible interference.
