It is aimed to form the students’ infrastructure for the period as introducing motifs and artworks used by craftsmen, ecoles of 17th and 18th centuries which were the important two forms such as zahriye and superscription used in the illumination art.

Dersin İçeriği

Informing about Zahriye and Superscription forms which are two important designs of the illumination art. Preparing and applying the illumination designs in these forms.
Sense of art and artworks of Ali Üsküdari who was an ecole in 17th century. Making an original Şükufe or Bouquet working. Making a baroque design.

Hafta Konular ÖnHazırlık
1 Informing about Zahriye/Superscription pages and showing examples from miscellaneous superscriptions/ zahriye. Applying sketches of superscription/zahriye pages (Illumination+Halkar, Zencerek, Double Writing) as reciprocal pages (Dimension: 7x11 cm).
2 Completing the sketch studies of the subject given. Giving a research study about the illumination art as to deliver on 12th week.
3 Starting to work the original design on the murakka.
4 Continuing to work the original design on the murakka.
5 Completing and delivering Zahriye/Superscription page design.
6 Recognizing the naturalist style and sense of art and artworks of Ali Üsküdari who was an ecole in 17th century, giving examples from his artworks. Starting Şükufe or Bouquet working in the naturalist style.
7 Completing the sketch study of the subject given.
8 Starting the original design on the murakka.
9 Quiz. Delivering the original study after completing.
10 Completing and delivering the Şukufe/Bouquet illumination study.
11 Final homework. Starting sketch study of a baroque design.
12 Completing the sketch study of the subject given.
13 SStarting to work the original design on the murakka.
14 Completing the original study.
