Dersin Amacı

A large part of the energy used in the world is spent to create friction and / or friction. Also, most of the materials used in the world are out of use due to wear. Lubricants are used to improve these two conditions. Tribology; friction-wear and lubrication phenomena and the relations between them. This course aims to teach the engineer candidates the importance of tribology components and their living system components. It provides the use of this science and technology data in the stages of design, manufacturing, operation and use.
