In drying process, heat and mass transfer are occurring simultaneously. The type and technology of drying systems plays a very important role for obtaining a best condition for a heat and mass transfer. This course includes the topics of describing the moisture content of materials, types of moisture-solid relationships, air humidity, sorption isotherms and using heat and mass balance on the drying process and determining the drying process.
