Dersin Amacı

The aim of this course is to cover all the equipment of a motor vehicle and ensure that the students have sufficient knowledge of the vehicle technique. 

Dersin İçeriği

Motor vehicle concept. Transmission Organs. Steering Equipment. Diagonal movement and navigational dynamics. Motion resistances and equations: Motion boundaries, Air drag, Acceleration resistance and power; Road-Vehicle Aerodynamics: Aerodynamic forces, Air flow systems, Creation of skidding and rolling torques, Aerodynamic forces, Resistance force; Linear Vehicle Motion: Vehicle drive characteristics, Maximum drive force; Vehicle Acceleration Ability: Acceleration Limit, Road bend Stability; Braking Mechanism: Brake and Brake Equipment, Rubber Wheels, Road tire relation, Braking load transfer.
