Dersin Amacı

The aim of the course; To teach the molding method which is one of the most widely used mass production methods, to make the right molding method to be selected according to the parts, to gain the knowledge and skill to make mold design by making mold design applications with a computer program.

Dersin İçeriği

In this course, mass mold logic is explained and the most commonly used injection molds, extrusion molds, blow molds and sheet forming molds are introduced. The course mainly focuses on plastic injection molds. Course content; Molding methods, molds of plastic injection molds, parts of molds, mold components, runner systems, propulsion systems, cooling systems, plastic materials, mold materials, hot runner molds, machined molds, multi-plate molds, multi-component molds, mold design and manufacturing stages .
