Giving students an understanding of what makes a system digital, basic properties of Boolean algebra, and the operation of discrete logic gates.
Dersin İçeriği
Number systems. Binary number system. Coding and codes. Logic elements and networks and their simplification. Truth tables and Boolean algebra, map and table methods for minimizing Boolean expressions. Karnough Maps. Logic design with gates, MSI and LSI technologies. Combinational logic, analysis and design. Principle and design of encoders, decoders, multiplexers, adders, arithmetic-logic units.
