Dersin Amacı

Development in digital communication has led to many public relations practices move to the new communication environment as well as emergence of the new application areas in public relations. This course aims to provide a vision from different approaches realated to the digital public relations concepts and tools in a combination and a holistic perspective.

Dersin İçeriği

The content of this course is; to create and maintain the corporate blogs that provide interactive communication with the target public; to take advantage of the speed of online newsletters and effectiveness in the process of media relations; to provide the improvement of the visibility of the organization by creating search engine optimization; to form a controlled channel, both in relations with the media and with stakeholders, through corporate websites; to monitor and manage the target public’s opinions and thoughts about the products and services on social media; to monitor and manage the content produced by the online communities which created by people and groups gather around the common interests for sharing their information, ideas, experiences and emotions in online environments; to provide the proper management of the reputation of products, brands and corporate identity of an organization in the digital world; to provide the management of the crisis (faced by organizations) in the online environment as well as in the traditional mass media; to make it possible to use of the other digital public relations medium and tools.
