Designing fundementals of the internal combustion machines concerning engine types,fuels, cycles, compression ratios, thermodynamic analysis, indicator diagram2. Calculating piston rate, cylinder diameter and stroke, engine power, effective pressure and controling them3. Selecting suitable materials for machine elements4. Accomplishing strengthness control for all of elements heating in respect of static, dynamic and thermal stres5. Designing cam profiles6. Determining the basic parameter for secondary systems of machine7. Creating the manufacturing and complement drawings
 Dersin Öğrenme Çıktıları Öğretim Yöntemleri Ölçme Yöntemleri 1 - At the end of this course, students identify the basic features of the engine design to be done, and makes preliminary analysis and feasibility study 2 - 1 - A - D - 2 - The key features of the engine is determined by calculating the main dimensions, makes compliance checks 1 - 3 - 2 - D - A - 3 - Motor parts and materials selected, and the system´s design makes 2 - 1 - A - D - 4 - Engine block, cylinder head, crankshaft, cylinder liner, the valve system, camshafts, manifolds, pistons, piston pin, Connecting Rod and flywheel size and strength check calculation makes 1 - 2 - D - A - 5 - Draw the camshaft profile according to valve road-speed- acceleration graphics 2 - 1 - A - D - 6 - Determines the basic parameters of the motor assist system 1 - 2 - D - A - 7 - A complete design of the engine by doing the accounts, the main draws pictures of parts manufacturing and assembly 2 - A - D -
