Dersin Amacı
In parallel with technological advancement, various modern manufacturing methods have been developed which all have specific advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, it is important to become familiar with the properties of modern manufacturing techniques/methods in order to make proper decisions and engineering design. The aim of this module is to provide an understanding of the basic principles of modern manufacturing methods which may be adopted to produce mechanical and electro-mechanical components. Emphasis is also placed on the related factors and criteria that need to be considered in selection of a process type and associated process parameters.
