The aim of this lesson is to enlighten students about family treatment directed towards families who are disadvantaged in some cases. To get help about the problems that had already occured or may be occur to continue a person’s, a family’s, a community’s and a society’s life with in health, order and harmony.

Family treatment : definitions and concepts, History of Family treatment, Models of family treatment, Techniques of family treatment. Family treatment and social work practice. Case study and discussion: with the families who have disabled child, families whose children have school or exam problems, families who look after/live with elderly people, families who look after patient people, people who lost wife/husband/child. Criteria to become a Family therapeutist, Social worker!s approach to Family treatment
