Dersin Amacı

This course will help to understand how important the mechanisms of metalloenzymes with metal atom that catalyze biochemical reactions are in living organisms and informs about the importance of enzymes in biochemistry, medicine, textile, agriculture, food and pharmacy industries.   

Dersin İçeriği

This course includes the place of metal and organometallic compounds in protein structure in biological systems and their interactions with proteins. It aims to explain and determine the functions of organometallic compounds, proteins and enzymes in living systems by the role of metal ions in living systems. At the end of this course, the structure and functions of organometallic compounds, metalloproteins with metal in biological systems, interaction of metal and organometallic compounds with proteins, their functions and chemistry are provided.
