Dersin Amacı	Bu ders 21. Yüzyılda modern Ortadoğu?nun dünya siyaseti içinde edindiği yeri siyasi coğrafya ve eleştirel jeopolitikten hareketle toplumsal, kültürel ve ekonomik boyutlarıyla tartışmayı hedeflemektedir
Dersin İçeriği	Bu dersin ilk aşmasında eleştirel jeopolitik perspektifi incelenecekir. İkinci aşamada ise modern Ortadoğu tarihinde yaşanan belli başlı olayları ve süreçleri kimlik, fark, hegemonya, söylem, topraksallık, devlet, mekan, iktidar, küreselleşme, bölgeselcilik ve terör gibi olgular üzerinden tartışmaktadır.
