| Dersin Amacı | The course aims to develop an overview of translation both as a discipline and as a profession, by explaining the basic concepts, strategies, working modes, rights and obligations as well as current discussions. |
| Dersin İçeriği | The course starts with the basic definitions as well as different types of translation and interpreting, the current state of affair in the translation market, basic technologies and current discussions on professionalization. Apart from theoretical aspects, the students will also do translation and interpreting practice. |
