Dersin Amacı | To introduce children's literature in the world and in Turkey, to comprehend its importance in the profession, to ensure that Turkish mother tongue activities are planned and implemented correctly. To enable students to understand the relationship between children and media, to comprehend the role of media on children's development and education. |
Dersin İçeriği | The development of children's literature in the world and in Turkey. The importance of meeting with qualified children's books in childhood and the function of children's literature works in the upbringing of thinking and sensitive individuals who have acquired a reading culture. Features that should be found in works of children's literature (design, content, educational). Examination of these features on examples selected from Turkish and world classics in children's literature. Negative effects of unqualified children's books on child development. The suitability of children's books for age groups and child-book relationship. Types of children's literature (poetry, epic, fairy tale, story, novel, rhyme, riddles, etc.) and their contributions to the development of the child. Turkish language activities in preschool education and the basic principles and points to be considered in the planning and implementation of these activities. Features of tools and equipment to be used during Turkish language activities. Methods and techniques used in the implementation of the activity. |
