Dersin Amacı | The course aims to examine and analyze the aesthetic, economic and political characteristics of Turkish cinema in the axes of cultural theories. |
Dersin İçeriği | The course contains (1.1) cinema experience (1.2). national identity-national cinema discussions in the context of (1) modernization and modernism; (2.1) the relation of third world cinema and (2.2). thirld cinema with Turkish cinema in the contexte of (2) postcolonial theory; (3) the links between globalization, postmodernism, digital culture and (3.1) transnational cinema; (3.2) Turkish cinema's aesthetic and ideological transformation in these contextes |
