Dersin Amacı The present course is a continuation of the course named Reading Skills I, which is offered in the fall semester. It is an undergraduate course which aims to add up to students’ reading skills in English by also aiming to help them acquire academic reading skills which they would need in their academic lives.
Dersin İçeriği This course aims to expand students’ academic reading skills and vocabulary knowledge in order to prepare them for academic courses that they will take in the department. Startegies and activities embarrassed in this course also help students improve their reading skills. At the end of this course, students will have a good command of strategies for approaching academic texts and skills for consciously applying the academic reading strategies.
